LOL - Lesson learned and good advice.
Back to a couple of discussions in this thread: IMO - any time someone ships an item, it should be insured. Otherwise, the seller is implying responsibility if something gets damaged during shipping. For $1.50, we would have been able to make a claim on the Post Office damage and got the full amount back. Not taking any responsibility is one thing but deciding to drop out of communication to work toward a solution, means the seller was running away from the issue.
Having to make a claim, compelled the seller and tells me that the seller isn't concerned about her integrity. A bit saddening actually - but at least I was able to get 1/2 back.
Hey - its something. I'm out $30 and have a real piece of crap undertail to look at... I think i'll shop around for a 'good' one.
