So I did a thing (carbon parts)

Like an idiot I cracked my front fender backing out of my parking spot because I left my disk lock on. So I did the only logical thing and ordered $700 worth of forged carbon fiber parts off of eBay lol. I wanted to go this route anyway eventually so maybe it was a subconscious move, but who knows. I'll take pics and let y'all know what the quality is like when it all gets here next week.

I did that. Minus the fancy carbon parts...

Super jealous!

i wonder if roadlok makes something for this model.. had one on my R1M and it was awesome and solves the destroys-your-fender problem.

i support your decision either way to buy the carbon though.. you know, for science =D

I can’t decide if I like the forged look vs the traditional glossy twill. It’s different, that’s for sure.
Please post some pics when you get it.
I definitely will post pics when I get it all installed. The update I just got says all the parts will be here by next Monday but I'm hoping it'll be here before the weekend so I can install everything. I like the forged for a couple reasons. I like to be different for one and secondly if I went with the traditional weave and each piece had said weave going in different directions it would drive my slight OCD crazy. Plus it's what the roof of the highest tier of the GR Corolla is made of so you know it's good.

My son has a GR Corolla.....it's quite a car....

I want one so bad I can't stand it. But the Focus ST is paid off and still going strong 7 years and 112,000 miles (and a clutch replacement) later.
He traded in a red Focus ST for his GR....a white one....

It's like a roller skate.

My wife has an Edge ST.....it's pretty fun but wasted on her......
