Thanks for looking that up heavy! I swear, the stator looked different than mine, but I was assessing damage and pretty pissed at the time...I suppose I could have overlooked itI did some e-gay research and they look to be selling the same part for both.

Will Probably be good for him. Though by now he should be banished to a Volvo Wagon.He came back and said it felt like something under the bike "dragged" and caused him to highside; after inspection (the bike's been lowered A LOT) nothing's damaged, belly pan is fine...later he described it as feeling like the front brake was on and the rear tire was sliding in oil...I think it was a combo of NEW tires and perhaps too much twist of the throttle. Mike later conceded that it may have been the tires and the slick treatment on 'em before they're worn in. He honestly doesn't know, only recalls that he landed on his left side, saw the bike sliding away...
It shook him up a lot...never seen him like this, but he's going to be OK

Hi Michelle, Just saw and read this thread. First, we are all glad he's o.k., for now anyway. Not sure after you kick his #*% though. Seems he needs to step back and review the close calls and luck he has had. Pushing the envelope.....not counting the $$. Anyway, he's obviously not used to more than 45 h.p. on two wheels.Correction - TWO...Didn't he tear up one with 4 wheels last year?
He rolled his Miata in February, totaled it, and this was just a month or so AFTER he'd just put a new motor in it...
He rear-ended a truck in his new Mustang...wasn't free to fix...
Last week he was pulled by a cop and the cop's first words were "hey, you're my first reckless of the day!" Thankfully, the guy reduced it by 1 mph, so 19 over, yet still falls under VA's new civil remedial fee program = we pay the DMV $350/year for the next 3 years on top of the court costs and fine...

a lot of people on ebay selling similar parts use the same pic to give people an idea of what it looks like even though they go to different applicatons. id check with the dealer to find out for sure what is used on both.Thanks for looking that up heavy! Awww sorry to hear of this 'Chelle. It looks as though the levers are the same. I've got some, and they are yours. FREE of charge of course. Don't know what else I have off the Gen1 Busa that will fit the Gen2. But if I've got it, then you've got it my friend who checks up on me all the time...

Has he learned anything? Well, we were out in his Mustang yesterday with the kids, going to get some lunch and he got caught up in "racing" some kids in a Honda that sounded like a weed whacker...yep, I was that wife sitting there fussing as he raced the guy two or three times, reminding him that we can't afford the tickets... *sigh*
I'm thinking I need my own insurance policies on MY toys and let him just deal with the rising costs of being Mike
Parts update:
Kevin (vman1300) has ordered OEM parts (the front fender, side panel, nose cowl, uppers)
specialtychef is being far too kind and donating parts from his '08, so he's sending along the left can, clutch lever and mirror, maybe a bar end...great guy, says I'm using "karma bucks" to pay, so the oRg is fortunate to have another giving member and I'm thankful to him, though I hate to know his '08 is in need of repair
Hal (GSXcite) is sending along the foot peg for free...
I think I'm covered...the stator is still unsecured, but vman said he'd take a look to see if he had an extra one lying around...he said that they are the same for first and second gen Busas...
I'm good guys...all of your help and offers of help are so appreciated, you just have no idea how much easier this process has been with the help of the oRg...
