So there I was... Without a Clutch

I had this happen last summer, but also lost the clutch lever. I drove up and down the 2 lane highway and never found it. To get the bike rolling I had to push it then pop it into gear. So I would recommend everybody check that bolt and loctite it.

I have a temp bolt in place that I'm watching carefully and carrying a few spares just in case until the new oem one gets here

It is odd but not unheard of,however, if I were targeting RJ for a lil sabotage I wouldn't stop at the bolt and lock nut. I would have taken the whole lever.

That bolt is not chinese unless i get one of the stupid chrome ones people sell, which I am not, I have to get an OEM.

Don't worry. A 6,000 mile update on my chalfers is coming up. I get wait to get that heated up :stirpot:
