Socal bash?

I make more of the Socal rides than most of the riders that actually live IN Socal

I'm tired of planning and promoting them, but I will attend them anyway

I'm interested in instigating and planning. If I had a bike now I'd be out riding.

I would be happy to fly in and have fun.... Just waiting for the guys to get all of the specifics put together and then I can make plans accordingly...

yea right, These guys put the hurt on our efforts in "flyover" country... heck they pre run, meet with casinos/hotels, caterers even the dancing girls are pre-checked for quality... all we do is show up with a few burgers and a grill..... (life is a lot more simple outside CA...)

I'm with Rich on this one, Lisa.

Being one of the (two) Busa Stampede promoters, I'd probably sit out on the planning of this particular proposed SoCal gathering.

As it is, I've already sacrificed three weeks riding in France and on Corsica for the Inaugural Busa Stampede, so I might let someone else take the reins on this and run with it. I'll be glad to show up and carve some curves, though.

Of course, I'll do everything in my power to round up as many people as possible.

Also, I'm not 'onboard' with your assessment that you'd have a hard time getting people to 'show' if it was only you. In fact, as interest in and momentum of these events grows, more and more people step up to assist. If you read all 23 pages of the last SoCal gathering, you'll see what I mean. The dogs start frothing at the mouth!!!

I think you'd do a fine job.

gotta love this place... keep in mind, Busa Bash started with I think 4 or 5 bikes? quality is what it is all about... I have NEVER met a jerk at Busa Bash... most fun I have ever had with a sheep too!!
