I didn't turn on the heat in my house at all last winter.

I'll take a half-day from work if necessary, and we can get you settled here, roll out the locals on the Red Carpet; hit up Mission Valley Hooters (for the view, of course)...and get ready for the Twisty Mayhem weekend.

A couple more thoughts come to mind.

1. I could head East that Friday and meet you (you guys?) headed West. Might be kinda cool.

2. If you want to ship your weekend stuff to my house so you don't have to carry a back-pack; feel free to do that. It may preclude the necessity of carrying it on your back or bringing the 'bags.' (I always try to do this...hate riding with luggage.)

3. I'm PMing you my home address so you can have it for your 'nav system of choice'.

Rich as soon as I get back to work from a short vacation, (I had to take it now, or lose it) I'm going to ask for Friday the 12th off. If I get Friday off, I'll be out of here around 7:00 Friday Morning. If I get the Friday off, I'll be there around 2:00 or 3:00 Friday, or sooner. If not, I'll haul azz as soon as I get home and get there as soon as possible. (At this point, I'm thinking of calling in sick if I can't get the day off.) Anyhow, I'll be ready for what ever you all have planed. I'd like to head home somewhere around noon and 1:00 on Sunday. So I can be ready for work on Monday. I haven't heard from Brett yet. I'm hoping he is coming. I'm calling him tomorrow to make sure he knows whats going on.

It would be very cool if you could meet us and we could ride into San Diego together. That would be great if you can swing it, but if you are working or busy Friday there are a ton of great roads on the way to your house.

I appreciate the idea of shipping my stuff ahead, but I travel pretty light, and I have a tank bag (that I've had for ever) that works out pretty good for a weekend trip.
