The helmet was German army Issue. Not all German WW2 soliders were "Nazi's" The helmet design does not depict anything along the Nazi party line any more than the Iron cross does.

More likely was that some supremist (group) thought they'd get a rise out of the advertising department for showing you with one of "Das Feuer's" helmets?
What are the odds that a real authentic African-American-Jew multi-ethnic would take the time to write a letter like that?

I sent him the letter for his thoughts. His bottom line was that he knows it's not representative of anything Nazi, but it does tend to conjure up unpleasant thoughts in some people.

I guess I understand, but we gotta move on. There are so many more important things to focus on. Society can't afford to get hung up on things like this.
