Some people don't like my ICON ad.

I was gonna say you looked like the guy from Mission Impossible or Entrapment

i dont see anything wrong with it and not like there arent 10s of thousands of those helmets around.... its only a nazi helmet if you put a swastika on it.... otherwise its just a $10 lid

Dear Mr. Anal Retentive Jewish *****,
Thank you for taking the time to write us a letter and notify us that we have complete morons within our customer base. We will try to rectify that in the near future. In the meantime would you please do us and this great nation a favor and kill yourself before you reproduce.
Sincerely,
ICON

The helmet was German army Issue. Not all German WW2 soliders were "Nazi's" The helmet design does not depict anything along the Nazi party line any more than the Iron cross does.

I think your add is fine if it offends someone they shouldnt look at it. In my opinion i think someone just had some issues and chose you too let them be known

Did you stop to think that it may have been a joke?
More likely was that some supremist (group) thought they'd get a rise out of the advertising department for showing you with one of "Das Feuer's" helmets?
What are the odds that a real authentic African-American-Jew multi-ethnic would take the time to write a letter like that?
Sounds to me like someone's having a laugh at your expense.
I really don't think it was a joke.

Believe it or not, I actually have a friend who is black and Jewish. He is a very intelligent lawyer in Seattle, and a rider. He was the first to call me when he saw the ad. I sent him the letter for his thoughts. Although he was cool with it, he said The German style helmet is something that I have never liked and to a degree have always found it offensive.
He went on to say I mean some folks feel this way about Volkswagens since Hitler asked that they be created (I know a girl that wouldn't set foot in one), yet I own a Jetta. Is the ad anti-semitc? No. However, it may make some people pause, but it's a personal issue.
His bottom line was that he knows it's not representative of anything Nazi, but it does tend to conjure up unpleasant thoughts in some people.

I guess I understand, but we gotta move on. There are so many more important things to focus on. Society can't afford to get hung up on things like this.

Maybe I missed something, I don't know what there is to complain about. Looks good to me.

Acht du Lieber!!! (sp?)
Here's a pic of a "Nazi" style helmet I found...
On GoArmy.com

The ad kicks ass Greg!

What the hell are you doing with a POS lid like that B? As my future running mate I expect you to protect the Grill as well as the brain...

Us the lid for a potted plant, wear your full face.
