Both of you must be proud. Him of his donation to the pavement and you of him striving to be like his dear old dad. Fast forward 15 years however and you'll both be frowning from the insurance increase from the "showboating" ticket. Oh well, good times, good times! I'll drink to that.

Cool kid, cool mark, cool bikes.

I'd recommend to remove the otriggers in both bikes (as long as he can reach the ground with both feet solidly). A useful trick is to remove also the bicycle pedals, so he can concentrate only on balance, leaning (by countersteering

) and braking. Once he is comfortable, add the pedals again. Transition to the motorcycle will also be easier.
