I don't think that harshness of the replies were because of an opinion but because it notes that speedo error is a myth. It's a known fact that they are most often than not off by at least 3% if not more.Remind me never to start a thread voicing "my opinion".....lol

I second that one... mine is approx 10-12 mph off when it says i'm doing 100mph. Also the speeding ticket I got backs that up... he clocked me at 117mph and I saw the needle past 125 or more. thankfully he wrote it for 85mph. :-)I have a GPS that begs to differ with your findings...
