Spinners on the Busa

Uhhh, don't the wheels spin anyway?

ONLY do the spinners if it's a show bike. Other than that, it's purely a waste of money IMHO.

I understand what you all are saying just wanted to know what everyone thought.  I have seen a mpeg online with a Busa on spinners.  Looks nice, but didn't know how it would affect performance.  We all do things to make our bikes look better, spinners are just one of those things.  Opinions vary.  I am from down south and people from down that way like to shine along with performing.  Ya dig
The SOUTH!!!!!!
Last I checked you are north of the Red River which makes you a Yankee

ROFL... Haven't seen spinners on the street... But Tampa isn't really the South... It's like the South- <span style='color:orangered'>"Lite"</span>

Though Really it's more like FLA Fuggin Lower Alabama... Ya Dig?

Knuckle draggin, Hill billies running amok down here too...

Spinners? Don't even know what to say about them. See em on Ricers though so they must make everything go faster.

Does anyone have any pictures of spinners on a bike? I've never seen them myself. I gotta admit, I like them on cars because they're still not very common. Could you even have spinners on a bike that doesn't have a single-sided swingarm?

PICTURES, PLEASE!!!

Spinners= ClownShoes....  Simple as that....   Buy some lightweight Forged alloys that will actually improve handling and performance...  Schweet...  Then have them powdercoated to match or contrast your ride...
Well said Rev! Spinners are junk. Not only do they hinder performance but they're only saftey rated at 110 MPH. Anyway here is a pic of my spinners. Marvic Magnesium all day long.

I guess the bottom line would be what you going to do with the bike...If you brought the 'dang thing to ride forget the spinners...if you brought it to look at(why would be my first question!) then put spinners, lights, smoke, mirrors...whatever floats your boat...either way...
Ride safe...

I'm not a big fan of the spinners on anything, let alone a bike. I'm not even into the chrome thing so much. Here is a quote I heard from a couple Harley guys...."chrome don't get ya home!"

Damn, GNT...I see some pretty well worn rubber all around that tire. I take it you ride hard?

j/k, bro. Definitely a sign of good stuff...

As for the spinners, I'd take the xtra moo-la and put it into performance. As nice as busas look, I would much rather prefer to make them performance monsters over garage queens.

But then again, I like to shave more regions than most guys do, so I dunno...

I myself would go with opdsgt...riding well, can't be taken away from nobody...
Don't really care for that kind of thing... ( like spinners)

This is the key question. However, I do not think that it has to be so black and white. I have dumped a lot of money in cosmetic mods...even put a stereo on the Bus. but that doesn't mean I don't ride the hell out of it. I am not trying to drag my knee, but I like twisties. I am not trying to break 200mph, but I do go fast at times. therefore, I don't need a full system or to do all the weight reduction mods.

When I was considering wheels, I considered spinners. I almost bought some. In fact, if Rimmax weren't crooks I probably would have.

I just went with chrome wheels, and i love them. Now I have learned a little more, and if spinners are only good up to 110 mph, I wouldn't do it.
