Spinners on the Busa

I guess the bottom line would be what you going to do with the bike...If you brought the 'dang thing to ride forget the spinners...if you brought it to look at(why would be my first question!) then put spinners, lights, smoke, mirrors...whatever floats your boat...either way...
Ride safe...
This is the key question. However, I do not think that it has to be so black and white. I have dumped a lot of money in cosmetic mods...even put a stereo on the Bus. but that doesn't mean I don't ride the hell out of it. I am not trying to drag my knee, but I like twisties. I am not trying to break 200mph, but I do go fast at times. therefore, I don't need a full system or to do all the weight reduction mods.

When I was considering wheels, I considered spinners. I almost bought some. In fact, if Rimmax weren't crooks I probably would have.

I just went with chrome wheels, and i love them. Now I have learned a little more, and if spinners are only good up to 110 mph, I wouldn't do it.
Well said, I ride extremely hard on the top end (not all the time) but went with some beautiful RC polished wheels, Warlock to atch my Dragon scheme..

What no one is mentioning is that if you hit a small object say a POT HOLEe or ROADKILL and it strickes the front spinner you have potentional for BEND. If the front free spinning fan blade of the front spinner bends while the wheel is moving you could compare that to sticking a broom thru the front wheel as a bike goes by. RIDER OVER THE TOP! It is only aluminum.

Do what you want, it's YOUR bike no one elses.
You make the payments. I'd search around, find somebody that's actually running spinners and ask the up's and down's of having them and how they perform instead of the he said she said.

This isn't directed at anyone here, but you'll find out in life that most people don't know, but are quick to form an opinion and let you know it, then try to make it a fact. Do the research yourself and even if you don't buy the spinners, you'll have a better understanding on wheels and related components. Knowledge is power and cheaper too.
