Early morning or late in the evening in April will be perfect.

I am on the Hill normally before 8am weather permitting.

And it looks like I may the wifes R6 ready for the Spring Bash!

She wont be ready to ride but I am sure she wont mind me making a spirited run to scuff the tires....

Oh, you don't want me tagging along! You'd be sleeping on your Busa waiting for me! LOL I just like the ride there and back, seeing everyone...beyond that, I'm a "Dragon Chicken"

I have told you before, you need an escort, I will be glad to help.

It is not about the pace. I am always more than willing to show people a few lines that work for me.

(Hy_Rolr @ Jan. 04 2007,09:59) I really want to go to this Bash, but won't know if I can do it until nearly the last minute, so it won't do me any good to make reservations. So what I'm getting at is, Is there anybody who thinks they may have space for a roomie who would split the cost for the weekend? like I said I won't even know if I can go 'til the last minute...Just wondering

Someone will have room, I wouldn't  worry about it just show up.. Lots of floor space available.. LOL
That's not a problem for me, I have a sleeping bag and a pillow and would only take up about a 6'x3' piece of floor

Can't wait and everybody better say hi. I'll be the dumbazz with SC plates located in the rear of rides.

Hey Kevin,
Has anyone thought about putting together one of those webpages like last year with everyone who is going, where they are staying, events, etc?

How could I pass up this fest! It's my first year & it's in my backyard. Count me in!!!

(MC MUSTANG @ Jan. 05 2007,13:37) Hey Kevin,
Has anyone thought about putting together one of those webpages like last year with everyone who is going, where they are staying, events, etc?

I don't know of a camper place, but maybe you could park it in a driveway at the Phillips.

Sounds like we got the whole place anyway...

(Just an idea)
park it across the road starting saturday in the school parking lot!!!

I think MC is talking about the Meet in greet set up we had in the post that kept track of who was staying in hotel, food being brought and who was going

Last Spring, Tom(warbaby) had a webpage that showed a little info about those attending.

As for events.....

Last Spring, we had a get together around the fire pit at the Phillips when we ate.

I invited the local NCHP to come and speak to us and I will more than likely do the same for this one as well.

Friday night will also be an important time to be there as well:

We will do the giveaways on Friday after we eat.

Plus if you want in on the photo shoot on Saturday I will be collecting the money to pay Darryl and to send out the photo DVD's.

The photo shoot will take place on Saturday morning. Meet at the CROT and we will leave at 10am for little trip down Hwy 28 to a nice sweeping curve for a few action shots and then a group photo at Fontanna Dam.

There are no group rides planned. With a group this size, it is nearly impossible to organize a long group ride anywhere.

There will skill levels that vary from Gap novice to a very quick Gap pace.

If you are interested in exploring other roads in the area, there are several smaller groups that will get together and go out after the photo shoot on Saturday.

If anyone needs some help finding someone to ride with or would like any help with the Gap, please dont hesitate to ask.

I normally spend rather all of my riding time on the Gap. I mainly do my spirited passes early, before 10am or late afternoon.

I am no Gap expert and contrary to popular belief, I do not have all the curves memorized. I know there are several of us that are real familar with the Gap and will be more than happy to help you through if you need help.

Keep in mind, the Gap is not a race track. Do not use you time at the Gap to improve your cornering skillz, get to a track day for that.

Ok, just checked with the Phillips and my ROOM IS STILL RESERVED!!!!

Woohoo, cant wait!

I am going up on Tuesday or Wednesday so that I can sober up by the time the rest of yall get there

I'd be willing to help out with the web page, I'm just trying to figure out what's expected.
I don't want to get in over my head and disappoint everyone.
