It seems alot of people will attend or they just popping some talk. My question is (considering Im a newbie), is there room 4 every 1 at the Philip or do I have to mail my tent out there?

PS: The other nite I was checking out the forum where people post thier mug shot (took 4ever) and I came across a pix of this beautiful lady by the name SexyPR4U. I think Im in love (did I say that?).
SHOCKED.gif
With all respect due, is she still a member? And if she's already taken, then please accept my apology. I dont want to creat any flame in here.

Reservation at Phillips for room 102 made.

They pencil in your name and give you a room number now. Then you call back at the end of March to confirm and firm up the reservation.

I am on Sea duty so i can't promise but i might be interested in bringing my FZ1 to the Busa bash...

We're opting to stay at the new MicroTel just down the street...I think my husband is fearful of what happens around the campfire or something! LOL

Sadly, I'll only be staying Friday night and booking it the next afternoon like we did before...long story, limited resources to watch our boys, but we'll be there nonetheless

damn....just noticed this thread.... haha

prolly have the same groupe there again.... 6 of us.

OK guys and gals. It seems alot of my original post was overlooked. 95 replies and only 1 touching on anything I posted questions about.

So for those that missed the post, cue Whitesnake's "Here I go again"

I would like to do a few things different for the give away items. Of course we would have the usual items from our store and who ever else will be gracious enough to help out.

Last Spring we kicked around a "registration fee" so to speak. If we go that route we could set a fee and it could cover several things.

a tee shirt
pic CD- weather permitting of course

For the something different, maybe have a grand prize to give away bought with part of the registration fee.

At the 2006 R1-Forum rally, a $2000.00 shopping spree was given away. Keep in mind, the R1 rally had nearly 200 attendes. The fee was $60.00 and it covered food as well, but no shirt.

We could do the same with Street and Track. A shopping spree or a big prize.

I am just throwing ideas on the table..........

I really would like some feedback on what you folks would like.

Do we keep it as years past or try to add a "grand prize" to be given away.

Shirts? Yes or no

I am the worst post ho around and can change the the direction on any thread. Lets try to keep this thread on-topic and keep the ho'ing to a minimum.

Lets get a few ideas on what we as a group want to do...........

In all honesty vman, I just want to see the gang...whatever you did last time was a hit, the t-shirts (though I think there were/are a lot left over), the CD with the Killboy pics...

I think having a cook out that first night was a good thing; get everyone to bring stuff along...if you want to give away stuff again, that's completely up to you and anyone that wants to donate some goodies...it seems like a lot of extra work, but I know it's appreciated by those that won (not omslaw...whole thing was rigged right Omar? LOL)
smile.gif

I just want to see everyone and hope I get there earlier this year...beyond that, it's just gravy...

I think a registration fee to cover shirts, pics, and a grand prize would be great. At least then the org wouldn't get stuck buying too many shirts and would be covered on how many cd's to order too. The fee could just be based on how many shirts or cd's an indivudual wishes to purchase and the grand prize amount of the fee would be a constant.

As far as a cookout, we could also include that in the fee.
