I probably should have asked the people at the local ship and mail to zero the scale or something. I just slapped it on and took a pic. I don't have an explanation, but that certainly doesn't sound right. That seems incredibly heavy for the construction my Vortex steel 44T 530 was only 1kg

Their hyper fast is a 17/45 520 conversion. We took a 530 17/45 off of my friends bike and swapped it with a 18/45 and it got quicker and faster from 80-140 and overall 40-150d faster and quicker. He was full weight, +6 with the rear shock spring but not valved for his weight. First gear was like riding a rodeo bull *if* it hooked on the hit.I wonder how the Gen 3 'Busa would feel with a Vortex "Hyper Fast” kit. The stock gearing uses too much road for my case. I barely get to enjoy the upper rev range of this engine. I have that kit on my Gen 2 ZX-10R and it's a blast.
I obviously don't like breaking the law, plus these roads were I live are too risky and unpredictable to be doing top end pulls. The few times I've done it the anxiety has been too much, because cops and road damage and debris pop out of nowhere. You guys in the CONUS have it good!
Thanks for taking the time to explain throughly, bro. That's all I needed to read. 18/45 has my attention!Their hyper fast is a 17/45 520 conversion. Ive helped 5 other local guys (Gen 2 and 3) that were stock motor exhaust/stacks/filter/flash with their sprocket work. And stock motor just seems to do best 18/43-45 depending on bike weight. I have a guy with a Gen 2 1441 coming over this week and were going to throw the GPS on and see if his extra power will like an 18/40 or 18/41. Hes 18/43 right now and the bike acts like the -1/+2 Gen 3s that came in that we had to smooth out.
I can't wait for my new set up.I got an extra 18/44 aluminum rear 520 setup if anyone wants to make the jump and save some weight
