2006 Trailblazer SS that is running around 440hp at the crank, did beat a SRT8 Charger and still can tow 5000lbs all day long.
Still not even close to the same league as the old busa

Had a guy in a Ford Lighting try me once on the Freeway when I had my 04LE, I played with him like a cat plays with a mouse, after I grew tired of him I left him like he was sitting still. I really think for a second he thought he was keeping up.

I did the same with a Subaru WRX on the loop in Raleigh, NC. My bike is low and streched and he must have mistaken me for a 600 or something. He pulled around me swerving and bumping the throttle. I dropped to 3rd and kept bumping mine. After 6 bumps we held it. It was so not close. Looked like he threw it in reverse.
Then had a Neon of all things try me in my home town. I left him and turned around and met him. His girl was clowning him from the shotgun.

Had a guy in a vette do that to me, going down Bannister rd. Light to light, I let him beat me, made him think I was giving it all she had. Man, he was cracking up, his girl was besides him smiling as I pulled up along side of him. We were at the entrance to the on ramp to 435 N, I had the outside lane he had the inside, we turn right, he nails it again, their heads go back, he's in it for all she's worth, he's about five car legnths ahead of me. when I open a can of whoop a$$ on him, pass him on one wheel, drop second, front end comes up again, slow down about a half mile down the road to let him catch up, he won't even look over at me, but his girl friend is dying laughing at him, pointing and everything. Sounds like you came across Mailia Mike. He has (or had) a low mileage 96 GTS Twin Turbo in Vegas. The car has 6000 original miles and is in near perfect condition. It was built by Underground Racing in North Carolina. They are one of the leaders in Twin turbo Vipers. The car has over 1200 rwhp. It also has HRE 547r and CCW drag wheels and tires.NOTE TO SELF: (and anyone else here in the Pacific Southwest)........ Beware of license plates with "2000 HP" attached to a candy blue SS style paint job........THERE'S ONE IN EVERY CROWD, but here in Vegas, ONLY ONE.....so far....

Yeah you ain't lyin, usually I just point down to the Kanji, and shake my head. But sometimes it does feel good to just leave'em !!PS That's the dumb thing about being a Hayabusa Pilot, after a while, "Who needs to prove ANYTHING" to "ANYONE"?........

Most of the time, I just let the clowns think I will race them at a light and let them go and just put along. I had a vette with a guy almost twice my age messing with me and his girlfriend that looked like a teenager. He hit it hard and I pulled up next to him at about 80, the road ahead was clear, Hit it mildly, and dusted him up to around 140 then had to alow down for traffic. I looked over at him and his girlfriend was laughing at him, he would not look at me. I would have not messed with him, but hey, he was old enough to know better and thought I would help his mid life crisis out a little.

Hey it is a thrill to mess around like that regardless of the outcome. During a ride through Germany some years ago I was minding my own business on the autobahn when a banged out SL600 AMG pulled alongside me to run. We had a lot of clear road ahead but since it was after dark on an unlit road I didn't hit maximum speed simply staying alongside to over 160 using his better headlights. It was fun and the guy hit the hazard lights as he pulled off the 'bahn in acknowledgement.
