Dampers are one of those things you don't need until you need it. I think it would of had a stock damper on board.

I've often wondered how many of the little shimmies I've had would've been out right tank slappers without...

ZX-14 doesn't come with a damper - I think he'd live without one.

Calm down bots I got it home at 7 this morning and had to be to work at 8. Pics will be up when I get out tonight. Bike has brand new Michelin pilot power tires on it I'm not sure how these are. Any one have experience with them?

Does he NEED an aftermarket damper, probably not.

The 03 CBR 600 RR had no factory damper.
