I am a General Superintendent. I build WalMart, Sams Club, Best Buy, and whatever else they tell me to build. Basically I get paid to travel the country and tell people what to do.

Very nice pix R8. Do you utilize the retainer valves or just run it balls to the wall?

Our biggest grade 6 mile long @ 2%.

Just so everyone else knows, you really got to have all the steps on your ladder to be able to make that run day after day.

I remeber this accident very well. It killed a young man and he left behind a wife and three children.

This unit is facing East. The train was going West.

I won't discuss details but it was a rearend collision. You must pay attention to block signals.

The cross is still there..the Engineer is of Native American decent. He ran to the reservation. Never heard from again.

no retainers..dynamic brake and air.

I have been told that with my Engineers Certifacation and running this Sub Division I would be hired anywhere.

Not sure if true but 3 years and 10 months until retirement.

You would definately get hired anywhere. Anytime you wanna come out here for a dull flat route, just let me know. 3 years to go, you have got to be pretty close to top of seniority roster

Yeah, the typical response is - Oh, you drive a train? No! You dont drive a train. Pix definately put things into perspective. 12 hrs every day inside a locomotive with a toilet compartment thats smaller than a portapot.
