byhalia, I say again, some of you are really funny, you wank on me for being "anonymous", yet your own user name leaves me chuckling, if that is your non anonymous name then congrats on a very original one. Yes I do ride, not very often and probably not as well as you and most on this site. Joe A, stands for my name, Joe Amo, I only try to go fast often not successful, do have a world land speed record, entered the timed mile at 182 averaged 187 for the mile you do the math to figure exit speed, but its only with a 998cc bike, no match for yours I am sure. I spend my time trying to break them at the Bonneville salt flats.
The Guiness book is crock of something terrible, when it comes to speed records, if they are counting any magazine test, you see real world land speed records are for an average speed over a mile, not a radar gun clocking for a split second in time, and to do this you will likely be on a salt flats somewhere where it is slippery.
Anyway, there both wonderful machines, enjoy anything trying to attain speed, please feel free to follow the happenings at Bonneville on our website,
http://www.landracing.com/, we update live daily from the salt to share in what is going on, interview with the likes of Vesco (last year), video (can see the turbinator going 400mph, and see Doug Meyer heading down course, and Turbo Rick heading down course, we did two stories on Rick you might have seen them on dragbike.com, plus alot of pics and info).
