"Straight line bike"

I have thought a lot about how to respond to this and here is what I come up with; you sir are intitled to your wrong opinion. FYI bro, I aced all 4 of my composition classes, carry a 3.75gpa and have two scholarships awarded to me because of my academic achievement. So watch how you talk to someone over the internet because if you stepped out of line like that face to face you would be riding off into the sunset with a few less teeth pal. check yourself and dood is spelled dude

Sure thing there, tuff guy.

i am going to look at this problem from a different perspective.i dont want to offend anybody here but i rode a brand new honda 600 cbr today and imo was the biggest pos i ever rode!i am average size 5 eight 175lbs .this thing felt like my schwinn back in 72!i felt like a giant on the damn thing, wobbly ,too light, all over the place! when i got home i hugged my busa.maybe these kids on these things can go around turns slightly faster than me,but i will take my busa any day!!jmo but you can keep those sh%tcans!ps/sorry to be so harsh,i just think our bikes are so much more enjoyable

Hanging way off the bike means u are holding on to the bars too much. The proper way is to use your outside leg to hold onto the tank while opening up your hips towards the turn drop knee and turn in. I hope u don't encounter a bump or woop in your turn while hangin wayyy off the bike. That will cause u to wreck...

I guess it depends on your definition of wayyy off the bike. I work on building the leg muscles on the bike. I'll get into this position. hold this position until the quads burn, and get back on the seat without touching the bars. On the track, of course I keep my hands on the bars, but hanging off the bike doesn't mean holding onto the bars too much. Also, hanging off the bike helps keep the bike more vertical. You suspension only works up and down, not side to side. So you are better off in the bumps or whoops if you are hanging off.

With Olivia Newton-John's "Let's Get Physical" playing in the background.

yeah, you try and laugh it off now. but you were singing a different tune a few posts ago. as i recall, you acted like a smart as* in the first place. and once again you are intitled to your wrong opinion. i guess there is always one in the crowd

guys, I ride a Busa, The Fastest Production bike in History! These machines will do it all, maybe not as nimble as a 600 but who freaking cares. when is the last time you actually got on it with someone and they could keep up even if they were on a busa? It doesnt happen often (unless ur on the track). People that talk the straight line nonsense are usually not skilled riders with little knowledge of the sport in general. Walk into your local meet and ask the first person who talks tihs if they want to hit the twisties with ya. I dont need to prove myself, been there done that, got a mountain of trophies to prove it. So i can say yes, i'm immune to that kind of talk. Walk tall and know everytime you throw your leg over that motorcycle there is noone on the road worth racing unless TTV pulls up next to ya:whistle:

What did you say about comprehension?

Not laughing anything off.

I'm laughing AT you.

I'm not sure what wrong opinion you refer to... as the only opinion I've made is that you're a tuff guy. By the way you present yourself here, that couldn't possibly be wrong. In fact I be you're one of those guys who is ALWAYS right. Aren't ya... tuff guy.

Perhaps in my first post I shouldn't have used the term "wayyy off the bike" as it has obviously caused some confusion as to my 'opinion' of proper rider position. Apparently not 'all' of us got that I was just using the term used in the post I was replying to in jest.

Sorry for the confusion.

This picture is awesome!! Made me LOL

Today someone I rode with on my cruiser was saying busa's don't turn. I asked him if he'd ridden one or not...

No, his 600cbr is his first bike, and he got it late season last year.

I pointed at my cruiser and told him, that's a bike that doesn't turn hahaha

I guess it is something going around the other sport bike forums quite a bit. I only visit this place and a local forum for riders in my area. Just so happens there is a busa specialist shop near here and the guy rides his like it's a 600. So I don't see any of the 'busa stereotype over there.

lol, that was funny. I personaly don't like the seating on the CBR's I've sat on either.

Last week the one of the Suzuki salesmen talked me into sitting on the 2011 GSXR 600 and let me tell you... that thing has been haunting my dreams. That thing feels SO light and at first glance the seating did not feel nearly as harsh as I remeber 600's feeling. If you've ever ran with 600s with -1/+2 gearing you know they are no joke till about 140/150. Almost had myself convinced to buy it too when it looked like I wasn't going to get my track bike running too...but darn it, i figured it out.

Dennis, in that picture it looks as if Trish caught you doing something bad, is pointing a shot gun at you and you are pleading for her not to pull the trigger.
