Squid because stunting on public roads is not only dangerous but gives cagers and police alike the wrong impression. I love to watch a skilled stunt monkey do his or her thing like anybody else---in a safe location. Two days ago a squid was stunting on 635 in Dallas and hit a car. The car propelled said squid into a guard rail; don't know what happened to him. This was an eye wittness acount.

i do my stuntin on the dirt bike (2000 cr250r) it cost alot less to repair and doesnt hurt as bad either. Still not any good at it though. it takes skill to do what those guys do, public roads are not the place for it.

Well better not try any of this on the streets or highways of Missouri... They are trying to pass THIS new law into effect. Thanks to the AMA for bringing this and many other issues to light.

For those of you out there that have children as i do, consider this. When i was a little younger than i am now (few years ago)

My brother pulled up on scene of 2 stunters who decided to do a little "riding" down a public road. This public road happens to be NOT so evenly paved(as most are) and long descriptive story short; rider wipes out and in doing so takes out 2 children walking on the sidewalk. One past away at the scene, the other past away at arival to the hospital. THAT is reason one for me why it dosent belong on the streets. Do i enjoy the stunts in a controled environment? HELL YEA. it always puts a smile on my face ear to ear. But when im catchin flack for someone elses irresponsible actions and in the case above someone looses children then it directly affects me. Keep in mind too.... Cagers are striking back. Dont get run off the road. They're gunnin for ya.

I have kids and I dont see what that matters safe is safe and shouldnt matter what your family status or any other status is. It's much safer here in SoCal now then it was 20 years ago. The simple fact is people will pick sides ( they always do ) and will only route for their side and call all the rest SQUIDS.

yes guys who race are more inclined to seek the adrenaline rush more often. So yes I would say they are more inclined to do dumb things. Many resorted to the track as a last resort AFTER losing or almost losing their right to drive.

I found quite the opposite of this... most racers are less likely to show off or hot rod the streets...

where did you come up with this idea?

I bet a short poll of racers here might dispel this myth
agreed. I've been on race tracks since 03 when I got my busa. My street interest continues to drop in favor of track days. I seek much less adrenaline on the street because it simply fails to deliver anything NEAR what the track does. You can't find it on a street because it does not exist there. Tracks are WAY more fun. I can only think of MAYBE one time I saw a squid at a track, and I say that because he was dangerously [to himself] bad racer - wrecked twice in one morning*, yet he was there trying to do better and learn.

* no broken anything, tightened his bike up and went on. That doesn't happen on the streets either

- one track rider's view

ah, the only thing (besides tho no handed stop) i do is wheelie in first up to 80
i chose the "wish i could represent option"
