Those guys riding without proper gear are setting themselves up to get hurt bad. I have raced tracks for almost 15 yrs and seen to many bad things happen on bikes.....boots and leather is a must......stupid if you dont use good common sense, not being nasty here, just stating facts....laters

i cant beleave they let them race without gear.i cant even race because i dont have a leather i have an old handa racing jacket with the soft pads and they wouldnt even let me on the track.by the way nice looking busa.

Clutches went poop...Over 12k on them so I'm not complaining...She'll go into the high 5's Sunday...I've got a special treat for her...

Betcha it's an air shifter huh?

You know I'm still ole skool...Footing it down the straight...I'm still mixed on the shifter...If I do that then I'll be to the point of thinking strictly a track bike...Right now she needs to remain dual purpose...

A shifter is just fine for street use, I got a toggle switch for the shifter/horn, my buddy just pulls the chip out of his autoshifter. You can still foot shift all you want, even with the system armed.........Speaking from a big, long-legged guy's perspective, it's an excellent investment, no more worrying about getting your foot up in time for the 1-2 shift.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this riding season and I refuse to have any issue set me back...And you forget I have no mechanical skill but I've got my man...Some of the shifter installs here have caused guys to pull their hair out and I ain't taking any risk...

With that being said, I've been unsuccessful at getting into the 8's... but getting close.

Last time I was spinning through the gears and ran a 9.19 @ 161mph.

With he recently installed Shinko 003 I should hopefully get rid of some of the wheel spin and drop into the 8's.

Now that I broke into the 5's in the 1 / 8 th... there's no going back up to the 6's ;-)
