i posted these questions in jinks post but i figured it was burried so i decided to make a new post. I went to work on the front suspenion today and came up with these numbers
full extension 126
static sag 103
laden sag 100
So in order to get everything set up i adjusted the big bolts all the way out and turned them in a little. Now my laden sag is at 89 mm which is around 3.449 inches. What i noticed was when i got on the bike teh static and laden sag only changed by about 1 mm. Also where does the smaller dials come into play on this. i twisted them 8 clicks softer so i would be able to get at least a little bit of movment when i got on the bike. Did i do everything correctly or should i have been shooting for a different number for my laden sag, and what roll does the smaller dials play? Please use dummy terms as it took me 2 days to understand jinks's directions. Oh yeah im down 1 inch in the front because of spacers...dont know if this means anthing. Can anyone help thanks
