Swingarm Hairline Fracture

i know this is a really old thread but has anybody else found a crack like this on their swingarms? i found one on my bike. same spot.

year??? aluminum or steel arm ???

2001. i thought the subframes changed material not the swingarm. i might be wrong though

All swingarms are aluminium. Subframes went to steel after 2001

There's a thread on the Australian Hayabusa site about fractures in the swingarm, but closer to the bearings...

Never seen one like this
