Take off stock mufflers?

I love loud pipes, I had a TL100R and ran it with gutted cans, and it wasn't to loud. It depends on the individual. Right now I am debating on running shorties on my busa, but some people say it will be to loud. A memeber told me to take off the muffler and the mid pipes first, ride it around and see if it to loud for me. You should do the same and if it works by some tips from the local auto store and slapp em on.

I can tell you for a fact. stock header, no mid or cans. IS not as loud as a harley with slash cut dragpipes.
Now the bad side. it makes your feet hot, it attracts cops, scares small animals, and can be annoying after awhile.
