I'm game as long as we can get the sis/brother-in-law to go. I just want a good place to stay plust to put the truck/trailer. We will see, i want to make it thats for sure
nah... in Mississippi we don't get President's day.... we get Mardi Gras instead!!! So I am at school today....
there is plenty of room at the microtel for the truck/trailer. i stayed at the microtel last spring at it was nice, the staff was super friendly and it is about a block or so away from the philips where the bonfires and group meetings take place. plus, the microtel has wireless internet.... and the waffle maker works well.. we also brought down a little grill and made dinner in the parking lot..

The Microtel is less than a half mile from the Bonfires at the PhillipsSo where does all the bonfires take place. We can get a room at the micotell, is that close to where most are staying. We want to be where the group is going to be. I can bring the whooch (shine) for the get togethers at night.

The bon fire is actually a little fire pit that a couple of the regulars have managed to get to bonfire stage DNGrumpy's fire starter (oh man) (there are actually 2 spots I spotted)
They sit in the front yard of the Phillips where they try to burn down what look like a couple "land mark" trees... Yamaha guys over there/ Busa guys over here
You can deposit your hooch with any number of people at the Phillips (there were cases left over from spring bash)

Jules and other 1st timers....I have made this offer a few times and still stand by it. If you need an escort to help you through, work on lines, I am always willing to help. This is my backyard, my play ground so to speak. I want people to have a better than expected time and I will go out of my way to make sure.
Kevin I hope you make the bash!, anyway, maybe you could just put together a "n00b" run? You know the best hours etc to get a first time group up and down... If I was better qualified I would bring up the rear but I doubt I am in much better form than most of these people

It looks good for me and Brenda being there. I will have a 2 weeks off since last chemo treatment.
