SS brake lines, HH pads, and wave rotors take care of the braking problem.

All the journos talk about how improved the k8 brakes are - maybe it's just a sales pitch?  

They are crap!!!!! but they wont advertise it now would they.Im getting S/Steel hoses fitted next week If i decide to keep the bike ill get a set of A.P Racing calipers if im not happy after replaceing the hoses and pads.

Wow!

I paid US$155 here in Atlanta, Georgia, for my first service, and I thought that was high.

I bought a service plan with mine. ALL routine service is free for 3 years. Including Valve adjustments. For $1,200 extra I figured it would be a good deal to not have to pay $100+ for oil changes alone, not counting tune ups, and adjustments.

I have an 06 1000 and its knife in the canyons   just amazing to me compared to my busa in that regard however its a real nut buster thats for sure    im going to oregon again soon and wouldent do it without the busa
   sometimes i ride both bikes in the same day and when i get off the 1000 and on the busa i feel like i just hopped in the caddy

Truth.

My son has an 07 GSXR1000. I brought it to first service for him while he was in work.

Fun bike. But, I felt cramped, it buzzed alot more, etc.

Definitely felt good hopping back on the Bus.

Also, my wife said I looked "funny" on the bike. Or, did she just say I looked "funny". Can't remember now...
