I don't find any of those scary. An assault rifle in the hands of the wrong person scares me.
Like the 17 year old who killed two people recently. His two million dollar bail was just posted.

It depends on your favorite media channel.
Iran is no longer organizing proxy’s all over the Middle East to attack and cause chaos.
The politics between the US and Russia has largely stopped.
We no longer see much aggression from North Korea.
Despite recognizing Jerusalem as the capital and moving the embassy, we no longer hear much about the wars and terror between Israel and Palestinians. The wars were beyond terrible with the last administration
We now have a peace deal between UAE, Bahrain and Israel.
We no longer hear from the terror in Syria, Isis has gone quiet. Our troops who never should have been there in the first place are largely gone.
Attempts to strike a peace deal with the Taliban and Afghanistan towards removing our troops. We should never have been there in n the first place.
In every person there are positives and negatives and Trump sure has some negatives. He is currently doing a lot of damage to his own legacy.
It reminds me of a sign I saw here at a little gun shop in NC heavy Republican.
It said: Vote Republican, Trump may not be the best, but the other side is insane.
Maybe we needed a bad guy to fix some really unfair tariffs imposed on the US from Canada? No surprise Canadians are glad to see the end of him.
Good he should of never been charged.Like the 17 year old who killed two people recently. His two million dollar bail was just posted.
Who'd a thunk there'd be this sort of price on milk and dairy products...crazy...and not right to do that....Tariffs on your neighbor and ally?
How about a 270% tariff from Canada on a neighbor who protects their country at great costs?
A guide to understanding the dairy dispute between the U.S. and Canada
High tariffs, ultrafiltered milk and supply management play key roles in the disputewww.theglobeandmail.com
That is the problem with the Democrats, take as much as you can and bite the hand which feeds you.
A civilian decides to take the law into his hands and shoots 3 people, and he shouldn't be charged?Good he should of never been charged.
Actually it is a lot more than your geography. It is a long-standing partnership with the US bearing most of the capital outlay costs.Who'd a thunk there'd be this sort of price on milk and dairy products...crazy...and not right to do that....
I don't care for our current Liberal (democrat) government myself...
...and the US don't protect us and any cost....geography protects both the US and Canada...
He should let himself get shot or beat to death?? When should he defend himself? I agree the police should of been out there doing their jobs. And not letting a city burn.A civilian decides to take the law into his hands and shoots 3 people, and he shouldn't be charged?
Who's going to invade our countries?? They'd run out of logistic support long before they ever got near anything important. There was talk of the US wanting us to bolster up our northern defense but all one has to do is look at a topography map and see nobody in their right mind would initiate any sort of sea-borne ground assault from there even an airborne assault wouldn't get too far...geography can be very strategic and tactical.Actually it is a lot more than your geography. LOL geography?

They don’t do tanks any longer, missiles and drones can reach you pretty quick, without logistic support.Who's going to invade our countries?? Canada pays it's own way, we aren't beholden to the US, we spend billions on this partnership.
I've served with several US units both domestically and abroad...I'm well aware of the size of the US military. They don’t do tanks any longer, missiles and drones can reach you pretty quick, without logistic support.
From your geography which protects you, to spending billions on a partnership. You have no idea of the size of the US military compared to Canada, jointly protection the entire North America.
On your last paragraph, we are on the same page.I've served with several US units both domestically and abroad...I'm well aware of the size of the US military.
We do have an Air Force you know and a good Air Force-it's not big but our pilots are world class.
I certainly won't get into a d1ck measuring contest over our militaries as I was a proud and loyal Canadian soldier who was proud to serve alongside our allies including the US troops I've had the pleasure to serve with.
All that being said, I am still not a Trump supporter..I would support being a republican (conservative) but not a Trumpet.

And of your addition (which I didn't see until now) makes us on the same page there as well.On your last paragraph, we are on the same page.
If we go 'round and 'round too much we start to throw up like now....As I have said here or on another thread, you can be a Republican or Democrat supporter and that's Ok to vote either way. But to vote for Trump is less about politics and policy and more about ideals and beliefs. And both the ideals and beliefs are toxic and worrying.
I am of the opinion that the admins should close this thread as it's like beating a dead horse. Same conversations, same "Us Vs Them" rhetoric as all the other threads on this site when it comes to politics. Round and round in circles.
Long time ago, If I remember correctly, there was a debate about shutting down the politics thread. But somehow it survived. We are all Busa bro’s here, I think. So if a healthy debate is not your thing, enjoy the rest of the site about Busas and avoid Politics. It’s all good and let’s face it, Politics in the US is a mess.As I have said here or on another thread, you can be a Republican or Democrat supporter and that's Ok to vote either way. From every account I’ve read the first shot was unprovoked. People chased him because of it.He should let himself get shot or beat to death?? When should he defend himself? I agree the police should of been out there doing their jobs. And not letting a city burn.

I can't stand all these political threads but as that is what mostly appears as new i find myself reading them. Now I will say nothing is impossible and I'm a firm believer in that but when has anyone ever seen a cop much less multiple stop to clean up some bricks because they were a hazard on the sidewalk?? In this day and age it's always pass the buck to the next guy and make him do the work and at least around where I live at most even if called in to police station they would tell you to contact the road maintenance dept. and if your lucky they might give you the number if you asked. As far as mysterious bricks appearing im sure some were in place for work but I can also tell you that I personally seen a couple pallets "appear" on route of a planned march just outside of Detroit in what is known as a very racist city. I drive the route everyday and the evening before there was nothing and the next morning they were there. Now who put them there i won't even speculate as it could have been anyone but I do know there was no construction in that immediate area that required bricks. Of course it wasn't an issue as I was actually driving right behind the march about 3 cars behind the police escort and it was all peaceful. Now wether it was the police, democrats, Republicans, antifa, a construction company or anyone else that may have put them there the fact is if they were put there to try and incite violence there is not much likelihood we would hear who did it and if we did who's to say it would be the truth because of your trying to do something your not supposed to be the goal is to hide it and not get caught and even with all the cameras and technology is still possible to get away with stuff especially if you're the group that controls most of what's let out to the public. However, Northeastern University police released a series of tweets on June 2 saying their officers were the people seen in the video. According to the department, the officers found a damaged brick sidewalk while on patrol on June 1 and collected the loose bricks because they posed a safety hazard.
Any comments?People Say Pallets Of Bricks Are Showing Up Near Protests All Over The US. The Truth Is More Complicated.
As of now, there's no evidence to support claims of coordinated brick placements at protests.www.buzzfeednews.com
