**The OFFICIAL TEAM GIXXER smacktalk thread**

Does anybody have plans to do the VIR this year and if you do what are the dates will be there this month on the 29th and 30th.

Does anyone from FL ever gp to barber? Would be nice to meet up and ride up there. Schedule for September or October should be good.

At least I will get to jump (fall) out a perfectly good helicopter twice during AT. AL to Camp Shelby MS and then jump. Then back to AL and jump to end AT.

oh, now you really suck. I've got about 800 more Blackhawk takeoff's than I do landings :)

Too bad this will be out of a chinook. Hopefully they won't tear apart before we get to our LZ.

Hooks are fun - fastest AC in the Army's inventory (downhill in a hurricane); I've got an 8-way chunk off a chinook tailgate. Couple of my buds were maintenance test pilots and I'd get to ride in the jumpseat w/them. HIGH maintenance..

If the chinook isn't leaking then its out of oil. lol. The last Blackhawk jump we did they had to 100mph tape a few things after the first jump because the static line tore something up. There was a cherry jumper beside me and he was already worried. When we got up to 1000ft and unhooked the troop strap he was saying a few bad words. I was laughing.

Last time I rode in a chinook . Warrant officer was running around with electrical tape. Taping leaks!

I have been saving up some dollars to get the sidewinder, but since Skydivr put the Barber bug in my head. Im reconsidering the sidewinder and looking at the shortmeg. Thanks again Skydivr. See yall at Barber. I already have sleeping arrangements made for September and October at my step brothers place in Birmingham.

Don't take this as the gospel, but I'm pretty sure even the Short Meg will scrape in heavy lean situations. I think that was actually the reason they modified the shape of the megaphone section on the Alien Head. For what it's worth, I installed a Street Meg setup on a friends bike and it sounded amazing. I don't think there would be any clearance issues on that one. I would definitely get in touch with Brock about it before sinking money into a system that may not be optimal for your needs.

Don't let Keith get you too! I had a few questions about track days and now I'm all in...Keiths a crack dealer not a track dealer!

The Best of Both Worlds

The StreetMeg™ combines our Generation 3 front section and sidewinder megaphone muffler to provide race-proven performance with a classic drag race look. Eliminating the inherent drawbacks of a side exit system, there is no reduced right hand cornering clearance, or rear brake lever-to-pipe clearance issues. No fairing modifications are required, and the stock oil cooler and lines remain intact. From carving corners, to wide open on the salt flats, the drag-inspired look and deep throaty sound of the StreetMeg™ says, “Let’s RACE!”

Think I found the one. now just need to figure out if I want the 14" or 20"

New paint! :)
