**The OFFICIAL TEAM GIXXER smacktalk thread**

Oh, you are right Tiller...you won't be able to see it at all since I'll be going by you so fast. Thanks for pointing that out for me.

No I will have the go pro mounted on my bike facing backwards so you will be smart enough to stay behind me and say hey to the camera....... that is if you can even catch the camera

Charlie, that's one heck of a tape job!

Jay, just don't let "Your ambition outweigh your skills"! Turn your camera backwards so I can wave when I go by! EAT ME!

Weather is shaping up to be REALLLY nice!!

Well folks, it's officially here, this weekend Team Gixxer meets at Barber to have a showdown. The weather looks great and I'm packed leaving tomorrow. Regardless of all the smacktalk, past, present (and future), I wish us all a SAFE, fun happy weekend. No matter how much smack we talk, we are riding together, NOT against each other. I doubt there will be many posts until we get back.

But Jay, I had to leave you with one, final thought before I signed off. Pics are worth a thousand words, sooo... it's now OFFICIAL - Don't make me open this on you :moon:

Same corner to the exact spot. I lined the two pics up side by side on the pc and snapped a screen shot. Pretty cool pic.

That's the dude the crashed out in Charlotte's web after you left trying to keep up with Felix.

What a Great weekend!!!!

I was thinking that was the same guy. He was super fast but super stupid too.

It was an awesome weekend.... Just glad I didnt add to the crash count with the flat tire. Is it October Yet?

Charlie was kind enough to Youtube my one "holy crap" moment from Barber this weekend (and, he REALLY seemed to like to watch my 'butt-cam" video's just a little TOO much  albeit mostly because you can see him under my armpit in a LOT of video - in front of me-)...I swear, when my rear kicked out (seemed like a foot) I thought I was a goner...so much for secret weapons..

Edit: You know, I just noticed, I did NOT Gear down to 2nd gear like I normally do when that 'event' happened...That's what I get for TOO low an RPM (SteveO)!

You just had a momentary loss of traction there. Nothing to get excited about. You handled it well!

And yes, you were a gear to tall. Exiting turns with the rpm in the mid range is a great way to be bitten by the highside snake. Almost every bike I pick up that has highsided its rider is one gear to tall. Happens quite frequently.

Lots of new comers to the sport simply leave the bike in one gear for most if not the entire track. Power management is a big part of going fast. If you can't manage the engine properly there is usually a highside waiting for you at some point when the stars are aligned just right.
