Not a Busa Bash by any means...maybe a Busa squish.

Took a ride to the Ocoee with Jay and Diana. One Kawi and one Busa. (Ok maybe about like the Bash ratio...)







Finished off with a meal and a shake at Sonic. Man there were a lot of bugs on the way home!

Not to insult the Kawi, but I think it would be a good comparison to say it rides like a Caddy compared to the Gixxer.

I'd say that's more than fair. My Di went for a spin with Kevin on his Connie once, and really liked it. You'll have to try my bike sometime with the big kid suspension. It works great for me, but might just shake you to death.

It has been months since I've been on the Busa and I've been riding the crap out of the Gix at the track. If I didn't know better I'd say the Busa has been snacking over the winter...dang she's a big gal compared to the Gixxer!

Just got back from my 70% chance of rain both days at Barber...had nothing but perfect riding on Saturday and had two good sessions in the am on Sunday! (You missed a great weekend Trey!) Weatherman botched their call on this weekend.

Had to bust out my Chunky Charlie rain gear (I think that term is patent pending) for the last 5 sessions of today.

Come to think of it, I thought my track gas cans were full at the end of last season but were empty first time out. Now you've got me thinking!

I got in a little ride too...

My wife and daughter were out flying, and she texted me "where are you at?", so when she flew over I texted her, "Last one home is rotten egg!!" and took off...she won (of course) but I had a big ole time racing her down one of these back roads with no traffic. They could see me thru the trees hauling azz and I could see them dive bombing me, then circling back... Been awhile since I felt comfortable on the Busa, but yesterday felt pretty good. Would make for some AWESOME video footage...

Advance riders - aside from the usual DiSalvo Speed Academy instructors on site, I'm pleased to announce we'll also have Elena Myers with us again, as well as Kenny Riedmann, Chris Ulrich, Benny Solis, Melissa Paris, and Dane Westby. If you're an advance rider and want to ride (and be passed by) some great riders, this would be a great event to attend.

Maybe it's time for you to get 'discovered'!
