The 636 also had more power than I needed for street twisty riding. The problem was I absolutely hated the high winding nature of a 600 for my uses. To stay in the useable power in the twisties I had to turn it to 10K RPM and higher. I found that I much prefer the torque and "any gear, any RPM" pull of a litre. I guess starting out on a busa and stepping down to a 10R before I got a 600 spoiled me. And yeah, the 10R is still extreme overkill as far as total power output. At the same time though, it's PERFECT when used at less than wide fuggin' open in street twisties. I'll never use all the top end power a 10R has, but I will definitely use the hell out of the lower end and midrange of it.man, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw your new avatar in another post. WTF? You didn't like the 636? Not enough power? I thought you say the 10 was more power that you would ever need.
Anyway, I am glad you like it and your happier than ever.
BEKAFUL!
