One time long ago I was riding with a open face helmet, something goes inside and is buzzing around by my ear. First thing that came to mind, it's a bee.
I stopped so fast, pulled that helmet off and threw it on the ground. Watched a dragonfly fly out.
Another time riding down the interstate something hits me in the throat, I rub the spot with my glove look down at the glove and see a bee stinger still pumping. Never felt a sting, don't know if the stinger just got knocked out or if the speed prevented the bee from stinging me.
