This Harley guy can ride !

Professor, did you notice that more than a few of the cruiser riders seem to hug the shoulder before they enter the curve? Just an observation I made looking through all those pictures.

Wonder if they know something I dont about riding, or if I actually am doing something right by hugging the center line before entering the corner.

valium, I agree , my experience is you always want to "apex" the curve by hugging outside - to inside, to back outside. You would figure the cruiser guys would definetly want to do this because of thier lack of ground clearance and cornering capability .... like you said judging by where they are riding, most of them must have had to really slow down for the curve.

at least he has some leathers on him (i am talking about his wallet, gloves etc)

C'mon!  The guy might as well been protected with Reynold's Wrap!  You KNOW he got himself tore the fug up!  But if he is a TRUE rider he will get up, start picking gravel out of his side and scream, "Myyyyyyyyyyy Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike!!!!!!!!"

You are right ,outside inside outside is the way to corner at speed.
