This vibration is killing my hands.

You'll need to replace your hands first...

Nahhh... I had a katana 750 K6 buzzy bike at any RPM below 85mph, LoL... I got some advice from Segundo at motorsports here in Albuquerque. I bought a pair of gel gloves and gel grips annnnd used my stomach muscles to take weight off my wrists. Also always remember elbows in and limp wrists will keep the numbness away.

Yesterday I rode the gixxer and found my wrist getting numb, my grip was too tight and then I realized why... The wifey was riding in front of me, made me nervous watching her fly like she never has before on her lil Ninja 650R... Maybe its time for a xmas gixxer? Hmmmm

Mine does it too. Sometimes it bothers me worse than others. I have a bar end idea I'm working on. I will be sure to blab it all to you if it works as well as I think it will.

I traded my 2007 ZX-10R b/c my (hands) would go numb before I reached town everytime. That was my third liter bike too of my five bikes I owned. I joined this forum b/c I was stuck between the 08 busa and the ZX-14. This sucks b/c I like the busa alot and the 14 looks like a mating of a dump truck and a VW beetle. Maybe suzuki will sort such things out by 09 so I can get one. It is pretty dickey that kawi can double balance their crank shaft and suzuki doesn't.

My busa dont vibrate at all at any rpms. I have been on my 08 busa for over 2 hours at various rpms and no vibrations.

you're right it's the only thing that i don't like about my 08. drop down to 5th gear, for the speed that you're going to hold 4500 probably 60 to 70 mph upgrade and 70 to 80 flat to slight downgrade, this bike can go 80 + in 5th gear. and you'll be above the threshold of vibes

Try these 17.5 Oz Bar Ends

I didn't read teh rest of the posts, but I got a product called "Grip Puppies." They are cylindrical pads that you slide over your grips. They worked great for me. I couldn't tell you where I got them from though.

i put heavy grips on and the bar end weights and it took all of the vibes away on my bike. the grips are like the kuryakyn grips but by another company. i forget wich one. they are made of metal with rubber insets and weigh about the same as the bar ends.

My throttle hand always went numb on my '06 on long rides and the '08 is no different. I don't really think about it because of the great ride I'm having

mine was mostly stock.. and i road from 5am to 6pm one day without my hands bothering me.. however.. my butt does cramp up after sitting for that long.
