Thoughts on cruisers??

Harley-Davidson: The easiest way to tell everyone you have more money than sense.

Just my opinion, but you can EASILY get a faster, more reliable, and more comfortable bike for a lot less....H-Ds are all about the brand, imo.

If your a hayabusa owner you enjoy the power when needed!
Its hard to settle when you twist the throttle. The GenII vmax is one heck of a motorcycle! Yes its expensive but comparing it to a vrod the price is close but the power and qaulity isn't! If you want power and performance with a cruiser style you will have to spend the green backs! The new vmax will beat a busa on the dragstrip stock vs stock all day long! A harley anything is far behind in any performance competitor.
Are you willing to settle?
I don't think the new vmax will beat a busa stock to stock:whistle:

One of the reasons that you're correct is that the V-Max hits the speed limiter before the end of the quarter mile. You have to buy the "race" ecu to get off

If you want your chick riding with you - you better take a careful look at the back seats. Besides the touring HD's the back seats an many HD's are pretty crappy. The Busa pillion is outstanding compared to many cruiser pillions. That Night Rod doesn't have a back seat... Where's yer girl go'in?

They have a rear passenger backrest for it and I'm sure corbin and other companies make seats just like they do for the busa. She likes my busa's seat its just that I'm not gonna be able to ride 2 people after I get done with some of the mods I'm doing so I'm trying to plan for my next bike. Was thinking at first maybe a gen2 or even try out a zx14 but this nightrod caught my eye and got me thinking more towards that direction

......

My first bike was and still is a 1992 Harley heritage classic -FLSTC. It was a hand down from my grandfather. Ill always have it. I take it out every now and again but the Busa is just so much better in a riding perspective. I can go longer on the Harley but there is a different pain on long rides. On the Busa my butt usually goes numb. On the Harley my lower back is the first to go. But i feel it the whole ride.

I am actually going to by a victory cross country tour in 2 years. got the finances all planned out. still keeping the busa i think.

I took on a vmax 2007 model i think at the drag strip. Tore him out the frame. he couldnt get better that 10.5

Bottom line it's your money, your ride, so it better be something you like

I havent seen a stock Hayabusa and average Joe ride a Hayabusa 10.1's at the track yet. The VMAX is much easier to ride at the dragstrip then a Busa. The new VMAX isnt no slouch on the dragstrip stock vs stock.

My buddy sold his Ducati 999 and bought a Fat Boy Lo (so that his wife could enjoy the ride with him), and they really like the bike. He accessorized with a larger rear seat and back bar, floor boards instead of rear pegs, and some travel bags. Photo from HD website.

I owned a m109.(loved it other than the plastic.)then bought a victory jackpot.Put more miles on it than any other bike I've ever owned.Added a few hp parts, had it dynoed and made 100/115 torque not too bad, but no buse either.I'd still have the victory if finacial things hadnt happened(divorce).I'd def buy another. But they are expensive. At the time I bought mine it was 19k with rebate. It had alot of bling from the start.Victorys are expensive .IMO worht it.Also even after the air box mode, tune exhaust, etc I pulled 50 plus mpg on the highway.I also won a few trophys with it.best paint(factory)best in class) I added the seat, drag bars, digital speedo, braided cables, exhaust, led blinkers, custom license plate bracket, etc.everyone loved it.I hated the victory badge on the tank and i did remove them.
