Throttle travel reduction Gen2 2012

Guys, is there anyway of reducing the amount of travel of the throttle on a Gen 2? I dont want a quick action throttle like a drag bike but its a long turn to get full throttle, I believe the Gen 1 mod was an R1 throttle

Older R1 and R6 throttle tubes fit the gen2.
Depending on the year, you may need to trim a little plastic off the tube, but nothing major.
There were several old threads about those, buried here somewhere.

But last time on my GSXR I just ordered a R1 throttle tube. The R6 is more aggressive and requires trimming.

Done the R6 mod, just had to trim plastic off the sleeve so the grip would go all the way to the end. You will have to take the cable off the throttle body too to get it to slip onto the new grip there is not enough play to get it on otherwise.

The way gas prices are going, probably want to give the throttle more travel and use it less . . price for 95 octane here is 2.92 a liter . . . that's almost 12 bucks (NZD) a gallon!!!!
Anyway, now I want a quickie throttle after seeing that Schnitz one for such a reasonable price. Damn . . . looks like a whole lotta fun!

Schnitz tuned my bike and is in my backyard! He's a cool guy and I was happy to see that product too
