Tipped Over!

Ahhhh it's like a potato chip that fell on the ground.
Two second rule says it's still ok :)

Old Chinese man says : Yew orda one fallen busa wit tears ?

Sorry bout it but glad it's ok .

Lol Saiid!

Ah, after it's all said and done the bike likely will incur more damage during the next riding season/tour etc.

It's a pity it didn't crush your muffler, would've been a great excuse for a new exhaust:laugh:

Well thank you very much!

Oh, you mean as in from the fallout from it being on the ground!

Oh ya, have since gave it a quick wipe-down and let 'er run for about 20 minutes... it's all good. But I gotta tell you when I first laid my eyes upon it down like that I really didn't feel good, not at all.

Your bike is fine.

Was the suspicious liquid located near where your Father-in-law was standing? He might have had to leave in hurry to change his boxers!!

I have mine on a front wheel chock, and its parked next to a wall.

The only time anything has happened was I rolled mine out of the garage onto the pavement. I was getting off it and it was still rolling on the kickstand.

I laid it down as gently as possible, and the only thing it bent was the frame that sticks out from my swingarm that has my texas inspection on it.

I went down with it on my knees holding it up and I managed to push it back up.

Im 6'2 150lbs, you can do the impossible with the adreneline flowing.

good luck

glad it all turned out well. I agree with the double beating though. I was always taught to take your woopin cause if you ran it was gonna be doubled bad when ya got caught:)

For winter storage it goes on front and rear stands at the front of the garage. During our summer season I normally use my half of the garage, when it's not used for storing her fathers stuff.

I'm about 6'0 and 240lbs... the 'Busa really isn't that heavy even when not all adrenalin hopped-up but that extra rush sure made it easier indeed!

He was nervous as can be and hightailed out as soon as the bike was up because he knows what it means to me.

Already talked and cleared things up with the old guy. With him being from Asia he knows about mopeds and small bikes, just didn't want to inconvenience me to move it for him. Also didn't factor in the weight differences between a 125cc moped and a glorified 1340 sportbike...

Well this topic has forced me to take my wife out to the garage and give her the "talk".
Glad you havent got alot of damage.

If he was my father-in-law and chinese, I would of took him out in the front yard and did dome kempo on his azz. But its all good.

I have personally been responsible for dropping that damn bike 3 times now:poke: I want to vomit everytime. Never been lucky on a tipover neither...something always gets messed up.

You shouldnt have had antifreeze leaking. Check all hoses and such. Whether the bike was tipped for a while or not everything should be sealed. I would look into finding a loose fitting or something else.

And kill you in father in law :firing:

Underestimating old asian guys huh, haven't you ever seen Karate Kid?

Bad, bad, bad Father In Law. Must stay away from Busa! :spank::spank::spank:

Sorry to see that David. That pic is hard to look at for sure. It's just so sad :(
But it seems the damage was kept to a minimum and all you can do is move on. Easier said then done I'm sure...but hey....at least we know you should be getting some nice gifts from the 'ole man this Christmas.
I'm sure he feels pretty bad about it.

I had to giggle when you said he "....scrambled out and took off." Like a dog that just shat on the rug and knew he's done something wrong.
