Tobin Gel or Corbin Seat??

The Tobin seat looks nice but I only got about 100 miles on one so can not really say yay/nay on the thing.. it sure is a lot cheaper...
Corbin is a full custom seat (uses none of original seat like the Tobin)
Tried the gel seat... did not like
got the corbin, never looked back...
My normal ride is 500+ miles per day and so seat comfort came first.. The stock seat made me want to walk, the Gel only did marginally better.. After the Corbin went on, my tail went on vacation!
I started with the front saddle and just last week got the custom rear saddle (note it is about 2" taller) with backrest.. The Mrs loves the ride (me thinks it is the back rest)

Corbin here too. The stock seat would put me in misery after about 150 miles, the Corbin is just starting to get warmed up at 250 miles! One thing, if you spend the extra dough and go Corbin, it takes about 500 miles before it is broken in. You can normally pick them up cheaper on eBay since a lot of people don't give it the full 500 miles before they try something else.
You can't have one, so there!!thats what I want

NO experience with the corbin or gels. Tobin is amazing, nothing but comfort and great looks, also keeps me in the seat on hard acceleration
way cool... I rode the tobin for a bit but it did feel a bit "small" for long rides.. When your avg day is over 400M comfort turns into a GIGANTO issue...I have a Tobin with the hump pad, but am waiting for my Corbin to come so will vote after
The corbin starts to come into its own after a 1000 miles or so.. What I mean is you actually notice that you feel pretty good for a change after 500 miles.. (buell pegs are also a must for my old knees)
But someone that has run both seats for a good time is really pretty neat...

I don't get it. If Tobin doesn't make Tobin Seats, what's he been doing all these years. Ntm the GB's we done all together for Tobins. Why weren't we calling them New Image seats 4+ years ago when Tobin came on the scene if it wasn't Tobin making Tobin seats. Tobin is household name in Busa community, now this New Image person comes magically on the scene after all these years to say Tobin have never touched Tobin Seat. Still don't get it. Nobody is wondering about this? Maybe I should be asking who's got the patent.
Btw, I've got the stock on there right now with Second Look seat cover.

That is an easy question... In business there is always guy that has the money and the vision. Then there is the guy that actually does the work... Once the guy doing the work gets tired of doing all the work and getting no credit, what do you think he does? He branches off and does his own thing. I can tell you first hand that I have seen the boxes at new image waiting to be shipped to Tobin. There is no patent for upholstery work...I don't get it. If Tobin doesn't make Tobin Seats, what's he been doing all these years. Ntm the GB's we done all together for Tobins. This is not a new story it happens all the time. Look at OCC, Boyd Coddington, Miami Ink, etc"¦. The list goes on and on"¦
