Alright, well in about 3 hours i will be painting the busa. Its an 04 silver blue. I will have pics. I will also have a little vidoe of me WHILE im painting also.

Anyone want to see anything in particular on the vid??

I will have pics and updates tomorrow.
 
are you painting the inners? if so and you are smoothing them down first, I'd like to see how you smooth them out

Ya, inners also.

It isnt fun. It takes awhile to sand em down... You can do it a bunch of was. You can primer the HELL out of them wiht a build primer, then sand smooth... Or you can sand them smooth, put down a layer of adhesiion promotor then paint. Or you can just paint...

What i did was sand them all smooth, adhesion promotor, a little bit of build up flexible primer, sanded smooth wiht 800, and now am shooting.. PITA.. ahaha longest part was the inners... Everything else was cake.
 
well if you are doing any kind of layering 1 over or graphics aka air brush i would like to see that.
 
sweet-- I can't wait to see the pics. I like my stock blk/purple, but would love a chromed frame and swingarm (polishing is too much maint.).

Ya, its done.. Phweeew... I think its harder paintein a bike then it is a car. It wasnt this hard doing my car.. Nooks and crannies all over. ahaha..

I will post up the pics later tonight when i get home.

ahaha, man, i have em.. But im at work and idont have a USB to upload it here at work.

Sorry guys. It came out VERY well. It was difficult to spray a bike. I thought it would be ALOT easier then a car.. Nope. Not at all. ALl the nooks and crannies make it difficult. I learned a few things though. The pics are obviously before i did any wetsanding. I will have it all together and wet sanded and polished and the new stickers on it.. SHould look VERY nice.


Question though.. What do you guys recommend for something that goes where the old Kanji simbol was??? I was going to flame the bike with candy red flames, but i think i have decided against that..


Any tips?

Ya, now im just deciding what to wetsand. The front fneder and front fascia with the headlight came out perfect. Along with the inners.


I just dont know what i should wetsand on the side fairings... Not really easy to get a buffer in there... maybe get one of those small ass buffing pads and try that..
