Today, I was at the shipyard, sweating my bumm off all day bitching to my self how bad my job was for the day...  No sooner did I get off the ship when i find out that one of my newer friends in the motorcycle world had wrecked his bike this morning on his way to work and died while on his way to shock trauma.  here is the article:

I just rode with him yesterday and we had planned with a few others to go out tomorrow over the bridge and out by the water in Va. Beach.  RIP Eban Hoggard

Sorry to hear another brother has gone down, way to many this year and for reasons that boggle my mind. Someone couldn't just wait another minute to let on coming traffic clear the intersection of check their blind spot. People in cages (who have never riden) distracted or to self involved to consider that they just might kill someone for their lack of patience.

RIP

Sorry to hear this. Have a question for us all, do you think that a 'required' ride on a motorcycle in order for them to get their license would do them and (us) any good?

I am sorry about your friend. My condolences to his family. CBX, to answer your question, I doubt it. It would take more than one ride for most to learn what its all about.

prayers to the family. So sorry to hear about him going down...

From the article:
"I don't know if or when there will be charges filed against the other driver," Thurston said. WTF?

Very sad to hear of your friends death...

RIP... bro

Wanna bet that the driver that caused his death was eating breakfast and talking on his cell phone while not paying attention...

All drivers should be held responsible for their actions...

The laws should be changed...

A person who causes the death of another... due to their friggin stupidity... by law should be arrested for murder... PERIOD...

Sorry to hear of your fallen friend...... R.I.P.
Prayers sent to Family and friends.........

(kaosccw @ Sep. 24 2007,15:34) I would support the mandatory ride thing. I already think it's too easy to get a liscense.
GODSPEED TO you friend.

I think you mean well like most people who support a good cause but more than likely it will be abused like everything else.

For example read the link in the first post.
