My God. A couple of guys poking fun at each other and all of a sudden were homophbic gay bashers. I think its great that we are comfortable enough with each other that we can joke around like that.

Someone sent me a PM and said, "Look what you started," along with a link to THIS thread. I still haven't read the responses to the other thread, I'm assuming was the "Porn for the Ladies" thread. Or whatever I called it.
Yeah, Rich is right. I have a strange sense of humor. I also have a multi-faceted view of the world and that includes sexuality in all it's varieties. Myself and my wife: we are both straight. We do, however, have plenty of gay and lesbian friends. My assistant is a gay man and was the most qualified candidate when I hired him. Trust me, gayness doesn't rub off on ya!!
Neither myself or my wife hate homosexuals. Frankly, we don't really care what a person's sexual preference is. It hasn't always been that way for me. I had to overcome the brainwashing which was foisted upon me by my childhood religious cult. It wasn't all that hard to get past it, surprisingly enough. My father was exceptionally hateful toward homosexuals though not the most hateful man I've seen. Ironically, the greatest hatred I've ever seen toward people of "different" persuasions (sexually, religiously, intellectually, physiologically, etc.) are the people who hypocritically go around preaching god's love to everyone everywhere. Fortunately, those people are the exceptions and I've never encountered one here on this board that I recall.
If anyone thought I was using the "gay" term in a derogatory or hateful way, believe me, it was not intended that way, it was merely a joke. I mistakenly thought everyone would "get" that so at least now you know!
Go have fun with it. The thread is funny for guys and gals!! Wouldn't you agree that laughing at it is more fun that getting all offended by it?

Read through this thread and I am not sure why it was even started...
I have two teenagers in the house and "that's gay" is used all the time along with "that's sick" and "you're such a freak" and my favorite "true dat"...
So, after seeing the pictures of men doing things that no man should do unless under severe duress... well... "thats gay".
By the way, I have known Lou for a while now and I can tell you that he only grabs my a$$ when we hug. LMAO
