unfortunate incideent

I recently had a heart dropping incident happen with my busa. I was out for a quick ride brought the bike back to my driveway and parked it in between my garage and my mustang. I was watching TV with my son when i heard a bang i ran outside to find my 06 busa laying on the driveway. My mustang wasn't in gear and rolled back and pushed my bike over sctratching the crap out of the stock exhaust and lower right fairing. I was never so upset/ pissed that day. Well to make a long story short. everything is except the exhaust is replaced.
I just picked up a set of exhaust cans off ebay for 45 bucks. I was wondering if i got a good deal.

Sorry to hear about your day, Although most people give them away, I'd pay 45 for stockers if I needed them bad enough.

That's a good buy, since there are alot of BIG Cities giving tickets now for non-complyance  mufflers. And ALL aftermarket mufflers are NON-COMPLYANCE exhaust. That's why they say in ALL their litature, "For Off Road Use Only" ! So, the free market is going to  dry up real quick, because if you get a ticket, you'll have to put the stockers back on.

I really don't know why, but in Europe you can buy aftermarket exhaust that comply with the laws. BUT NOT HERE

thanks guys well bluehaya Not too sure how it started moving.I was detailing the mustang out for a trip to Pittsburgh the night before. I must have bumped it out of gear.
Dacol. thanks for the info. Knowing my luck I would be the one getting the ticket for the noncompliant exhaust.

Glad it was a cheap Fix, now put the
Mustang in timeout for awhile.
Left mine in the driveway the second
day I bought it went in the house. 15min.
later my 13yo comes in the house like
someone just shot his dog and tells me
he dropped my bike. He had never been on
one by himself and went to sit on mine,
when he got off on the RIGHT SIDE the bike
went with him.Scratched lower fairing and
mirror but nothing major.

Of course you got a good deal. You got what you
wanted when you wanted at a price you could afford.o
