IMHO nothing is better than stock maps for the gear you are in

nope there is no need for it becuase the mapping for each gear is still intact and it will always go past 10.2K in 6th

Just curious , but wont adding a TRE " timing retard eliminator " do the same thing and be alot more simple to install? I know thats the route i was going to go then add the powercommander 3 after the exhaust and few other bolt ons get put on it.

sorry i read something wrong somehwere lol. and to answer the 2006 question mines a 06 and when on the clutch idle isnt around 2k , its more like 1k which is normal idle on mine even just running. But i didnt see where it keeps the stock maps for 1-4th then just changes the map for 6th to 5th , seen a TRE they sell that says it changes it to 1n23455 but also takes the timing retard out of the lower gears. Just got confused for a moment on the mod. No jump in idle and the hayabusas ecu itself changed slightly in 02 , think its bigger? cant remember , actual programming is the same almost. Newer ones are slightly smoother but still jerky when on and off the throttle. Idles the same pretty much and clutch doesnt affect or give a raise in RPMS's

on a tre it depends on your mapping weather the idle will go up or down
