V.I.R. Full course track day!

Wear them out man...I would love to have a 1K for the track! I ran the Q2s last time at Barber and ran 30 / 30 cold to heat to about 34/36 after a session. Back on the BT003RS for this track session.

Thanks TwoBrothersBusa! Let me know how you like the Bt003's. I am getting 2 sets of Q2s as spares, the price of $199.99 is too hard to beat. But I am still interested in Bt003's. I loved the bt002s when I had them on the busa. They may be the busas next set after I wear out the pures.

Next Spring Tim you need to make a trip to Barber....

I talked to SteveO last night, he cautions about letting them get too low...but your tire sure looks good and even wear....

Awesome Tim! Looks like a blast!

I'm sure those Q2's will more then get the job done for you. Amazing tires.

What pressure Y'all been running out there in that weather?

Way to go Tim! Absolutely nothing better than sharing a track day with a friend. Wish I could have joined you.

Personally, I'd be a little reluctant to run your Q2's that low. Once you pick up the pase you'll overheat that street carcass pretty easily.

I called dunlop and had a chat with their technical folks and they recommended a cold pressure of 29-30 rear & 30-31 front. I've run the Q2's quite a bit and found these pressures work well.

Race tire pressure and street tire pressure is two entirely different animals. Be sure when you are taking recommendations from another rider you are both talking Q2's.

Can't wait to hear about your next track day!

Tim, One more thing I can point out is Jason Pridmore and all his instructors run GSXR1000's shod with Q2's. They run 30/30 cold and never look back. If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of Jason's schools, do it! You will be utterly impressed and you will never see any better performance on a Q2 than Jason puts on. I've never seen a club racer stay in Jason's wake on those Q2's. Unbelieveable skills!

Hey Tuff thanks for all the feed back and help! Yes, Keith I will look forward to getting a chance to make it out that way next year! Ill keep the tires pressures where you suggested next time Tuff! As money will allow I will also look into a race school like Jason Pridmore's or other. I am just happy to have gotten a track day in this year. I am going to have some down time during the winter months..... due to surgery on my hands. My carpal tunnel hasnt gotten worse and need surgery to fix some lost feeling in my hands!
