Twisted said he was going wide in the turn and the wind caught him and straightened him up a little making him go wider still and into the gravel on the side of the road.

Yes GSXR 1000, and yes it's a loooong way to walk. It would be about 2 hours to get a truck, 2 hours back to pick up the bike, then 2 hours to get back. No cell phone reception down there either. And not many cars to stop and help.
