I read through those threads but wasn't brave enough to comment or get involved in the discussion.
I was brought up and currently live in a little back water nation (NZ) that has never had the racial issues that the US has had and still has, and when I see what's going on with the protests, the riots, the lawlessness and the chaos it just makes me shake my head and wonder why those people use so much energy in that negative manner.
But then I think about how it must be living in an oppressive situation for so long and I get it . . but there's Hayabusas to ride all sorts of bikes to work on so I focus on that.

Another case of jumping to a conclusion, and over reaction.
While I agree that it was jumping to a conclusion, I think that given the context, one can be forgiven for assuming that what appeared to be a noose was a noose. While NASCAR is fighting to move itself away from the demographic who would do that sort of thing, it's still not exactly a shining example of diversity....
I absolutely don't think that showing support for Wallace in the way they did was overreacting by either the teams or NASCAR itself. If you want to move beyond something acknowledgement of both it's existence and the part you have played in perpetuating it is a good way to start.

I try to stay out of politics as much as possible. I would hate for this forum to lose people over something like that because we are here for a totally different reason, a passion. From my short time here I see a lot of knowledgeable people and hope everyone sticks around. Besides, this forum is like a television, if it upsets you so much just close it out for a week come back a bit later and the subjects have all changed.

. I disagree, over reaction is almost never a good thing, cops on George Floyd is an example. As for fastest color, 15 FBI agents come to my house, and after an exhausting investigation determined Orange is the unmatched fastest. I’ve owned both and I can testify to this.

Are you volunteering to fix it for me?
How could I lose? With you, perched over my shoulder watching my every move (cuz it is your bike, after all), a piece of pie in one hand, a cigar in the other ... Imagine what that session would do for my skillsets!!
In a word, yes.

I don't think it was an overreaction. Purely my opinion.

I have never owned an orange one, and I simply don't trust the word of a man who has....

I'm actually planning on a visit later in July.
