Some day, I hope to go to that event. BUG.

I may try and  plan it for next year.  Maybe I can get some of the boy is in Dublin to go over there for the few days it on.
Man i would love to visit Dublin . Been to germany france austria mexico. Always wanted to go to the homeland. If i get inside a suitcase you pick me up at the airport...
Listen my brother.
It you ever  get  in/to your head to come to Dublin.
You make sure and let me know.
I  will give you a tour of this place, you will never forget.

Also some of the lads on the board have asked me to send them  some small bits from the city.
You know, like a little piece of the homeland.  If there is anything  you would like me to send you it is no problem just asked..

Sorry bug....  It seems like I'm hijacking your tread.
I do apologise for this.

Let us give BUG back his tread.

Lake LeatherWood is a park just outside Eureka Springs,AR. and is a GREAT place for a group meet. Plus the roads in the area are AWESOME!

I can tell ya right now, this will turn into 2 meet & greets, one North and one South......and maybe that's the way it should be. At last year's Copper Mountain meet and greet, there was suppose to be, what Sonny, 60 to 80 from the org.?.......less than 20 actually showed! The Mile High Busa Club went through alot of work to get us all together in one spot with some great perks, tee-shirts and stuff. I heard they had over 100 tee-shirts left over. Not cool. Props to the far away folks that showed, Rythm and Zuk, my buddy from the Dakotas and the rest of ya!!! Hell, it was a 15 hour drive for Dragan and I....but we were there. When the dust settles, maybe this shoud be a regional thing. Those of us that want to travel (and have the time) can still go cross country to either, but maybe the folks that sign up will actually show if the drive is cut in half?? Just my .02 cents worth.....

I think weather was the main reason so many missed the Colorado event . But on the other hand, i made it and road over one thousand miles in Colorado during my time there. it rained every day but there was a lot of dry time also. Its all about commitment.I also agree that maybe two events might be an option.

hey Moondog !! Regardless where the meet, Me and busamike will be travelling your direction a couple times this summer. Eureka Springs to hot Springs is AWESOME. hwy 7 is one of the best cycle roads this side of the rockies.

Fantastic! Call me, I'll hook you all up! This is truley sportbike heaven. I'm usually in Eureka at least once every weekend, great place for live music and the nightlife is awesome, let alone the roads. Fayetteville is about 45 minutes away (28 by busa). I have a ride that will go down in your journal as top 5 if not your favorite....it is a "must do" for anyone coming to this part of the country! I'll pm ya my numbers.

Yes i have to send a thank you shout out to MoonDog for the assist on doing a fix on my bike

ANd yes someones gona end up driving a ways or riding no matter where that event is held Granted the way it looks like this is gona Be a south easter meet not a Midwest meet

If the MidWest gathering is to be held in Eureka Springs, Arkansas - wouldnt it make sense to just have it at the Busa Bash?

I dont blame the guys in Arkansas for wanting to have it so close to home, but for a few of us guys to make 2 seperate trips, at 1500+ miles each trip is maybe a little unrealisitc in terms of cash and time.

I guess if we can decide on a date for this trip asap, after we decide where it is going to be would be great. And if the MidWest gathering is in Arkansas on a different date than the Busa Bash, maybe the guys wanting to head to SD can meet up.

Just out of curiosity, how many people voted for the location last year, and actually showed up? Didnt sound like all that many showed up who said they were...so would be sorta a bummer to ride all that way to have only a few show-up this year.

I have to agree a bit with Valium on this one.

We had a full year before the Bash in Colorado when we planned that trip and all the people that said they was gona show up and some said the weather was not a factor and hmm what did we have in the end like under 20 people total i know that showed from the aboard. Like Moondog said there was the Mile high busa club that did alot to plan stuff for us when we was to show and then so many people flaked out it was uncool.

Granted i suppose excuses come easy but man when there was a full years notice before the actual event man what the heck even I said i would be there and i have the most unpredictable schedule then most anyone on this board.

AS for this event i plan to attend but the date will determain that for the most part once i know that i can give a yeah or Ney answer to that
