Take a look at SLEEPLESS_RED's rims !!! (I wish I knew how to post pictures from other threads :stoopid as a matter of fact scroll up 5 posts......there they are.....and that's probably after an 8,000,000 mile daily ride !!

Makes the inners look VERY GOOD, frame too !! .....and swingarm .....and windshield .....and gauges......and, well you get the idea.

Yeah, I could see using them on CZ wheels with their smooth finish, but wasn't sure about the factory ones. Thanks

I do/did. I had to scrub mine first, they were BAAA-AAAD !! The brake dust don't really stick that much, and what does wipes off pretty easy, if you stay up on it. I can be kinda bad with that.



Hey Sleepless_red, have you ever thought of having you rear sets, and passenger pegs powder coated to match the rims ?

Let me help you with it. More than 5,000 miles on these wheels......5 months old.

For your info...when I clean my rearsets and passenger pegs, I only use Pledge. Spray it on a terry towel and that's it.

They look better than when they were new because they were not Pledged yet out of the box.

By the way, I also Pledge the rotor carriers....is that what they're called? Not sure but it's the black part of the rotors.

Yes... Spray on the inner fairings and just wipe clean. I take a old rag spray some pledge on it and wipe the rims carefully!

i have been using the ice stuff but if pledge works that good and its about half the price i will have to get me some! that black bike with the red rims is awesome!!

Did you use Dupont chain wax yet? From now on, those two are the only things you need to keep your bikes clean.

Yes I bought both items at Walmart the same day! 2 can each! Just havent had time to really work on my own stuff lately... Been working side jobs to cover a few unexpected things and trip expenses. Once my neighbors saw what I can do.... I have been busy everyday with side work....

Did a camry v6 valve cover gasket replacement and service one night, worked on a 07 R1 wiring repair andrear tire removal (pledged his bike and he likes it), did a alarm install on a 09 cbr 1k and frame sliders (Pledged his bike too!), a full service on a G35, a t-belt job on a honda accord, HID install on my G/f's bike, repaired and fixed a mini chopper for my neighbor, front brakes and tune up on a nissan path finder and nissan titan.... so havent had time to clean and lube the busa's chain! When I do... pictures will follow as with this pledge thread!
