Re: I took the PLEDGE!

I simply love it. By the way Sam's Club sells them three cans at a time. HEHEHEHEHE guess who bought that, yep I sure did. Our Wal-Mart doesn't sell the chain lube so we have to go to Lowe's. O darn we have to take a ride. HEHEHEHE I'm in agreement with the forum norm. Add it Add it. LOL Someone mentioned smelling lemons while riding before. Yep sure did. I started laughing. AWESOME ADVICE GUYS!!!!!:thumbsup:

Re: I took the PLEDGE!

Guys/gals, if you have alloy wheels on your car/van/SUV, truck, or whatever, try using it on there, too. Let me know how you like it. But then again, I already know.

No, I'm not.

I just love to put shine on everything I can like my bicycles, audio/video components, car/van wheels, etc.:beerchug:

Re: I took the PLEDGE!

it just gets so messy when it rains in NC. Does the teflon and pledge make it super easy to clean? cause when i wax my busa im meticulous. i take like a good 45 minutes. letting the wax cure and wiping it all off completely

With Pledge, it will take you probably 15 minutes to do the whole bike because you don't have to wait for it to cure. It's apply and wipe off. Same thing with Dupont..... spray like 3-4 links at a time and wipe the excess as soon as you sprayed. That's how I do my chain. I don't spray the entire chain then wipe. If you do it that way, it will drip all over the place.

Re: I took the PLEDGE!

Hey Sleeperless (that's your next name), have you thought about contacting Pledge for sponsorship? If you don't I will :poke:

I pledge my bike about once a week. Did it last weekend and this past friday went to a bike night, I pulled up and one of the owners of a local bike shop goes "Nice, looks like you spent a while waxing that thing, very nice job.." Little did she know I spent 20min pledging it the weekend before and right before ride just wiped the front down with maguires detail shine.. :)

Thats awesome. How hard do you ride the bike? Just wondering if the dupont lube will give you the performance of say p1 blue label ???

Sorry, I just got home and heading out again in about 10 minutes.

I've never thought of contacting Pledge for sponsorship. I'd say go for it.:beerchug:

The Dupont lube is DA BEST I've ever tried and believe me.....I've tried most of them from Motul, Maxima, you name it.
Thanks again to mike1180 for recommending it to all of us.:beerchug:
I still have cans of them in the garage and won't even think about using them again.

I have a feeling that you've missed this pic. This is after 500 miles of riding. Chain's untouched. I was still at a gas station when I took this. It was my last stop before coming home.

Here's the proof.

Re: I took the PLEDGE!

Gee you would think this is a brand new product - secret ?? we were using it back in the 80's man - most bike shops here in the AU us Mr Sheen which is a similar product but I dont think it is as good - truck wash is another "secret" that has been around for decades as a washing detergent :)

Lemon pledge does in fact work...

Tried it on Big Red a few days ago. Really put a shine on the bike but you have to be careful to get it all off when you rub it down. Looks REAL shiny... -L-

It sure does work. You've seen my bike and the other ones on here. Now, how about sharing us pics? Thanks.:beerchug:

By the way, check out my post just about an hour ago. Before and after the 1,000 mile ride. My bike went from very dirty to shiny.
