Weird experience on Freeway today...

The wife and I go out for a litte ride around a nearby lake and then head to dinner. We get on the interstate and I move to the fast lane to get to open water. A pos suv makes a run and pops into my right lane like I'm in his way. Okay, so I speed up to get out of his way, to like 85-90. He keeps coming, tail-gating. I then say it must be some kid wanting to be an ass. So, I punch it to 100+. He still is trying to catch up! We get into some traffic and then I notice a blue flashing light on the drivers side, WTF!?! He flashes his lights. Well, I'm not stopping for this psycho. A few lane splits later and couple of down shifts and we see 140+. Buh bye

Now, we were not speeding when this a-hole came upon us. I feel no remorse for leaving him behind. He was a danger to all involved.

I think you may be safe.  If it was a cop I would have to say that when you got back home you would've had some unwanted company.

yeah that sucks when you're on a bike. Had it happen many times in a cage. I give them a good mile or two to back off and if they don't....

most of the roads in iowa have gravel shoulders... so I just ease the tires off on the shoulder and shower his hood/winshield and pretty much the entire front of his car with rocks until they back off...
